Once containers of copper cables or mixed metal scraps arrive, they undergo an initial weighment to record accurate volumes before being directed to our storage yard. Each consignment is carefully managed to maintain traceability and transparency at every stage. In the yard, if the consignment consists of mixed metals, the materials are segregated systematically according to type and stored in designated sections. This ensures smooth handling for further processing and allows us to maintain the highest quality standards across all materials.
Refining Valuable Metals
When it comes to copper cables, our process is tailored to maximize recovery and minimize waste. The cables are first sorted based on copper content and then cut into shorter, manageable pieces. These pieces are stripped to separate PVC and other coverings, isolating the core copper wires. The separated wires are weighed again to ensure accuracy before being processed in shredders that break them into smaller pieces. Depending on the condition of the material, further granulation is performed once or twice using advanced granulators. This process allows copper granules to be efficiently recovered while separating waste material, thereby achieving the highest yield of recyclable metals.
